TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thanks for using ONLINE JOBS CONNECT (OJC). The purpose of the platform is to give you AWARENESS of and ACCESS to opportunities.

By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Our diverse Services may have additional terms at times. These extra terms will accompany the relevant Services, and by using them, they become part of your agreement with us.

1. Accounts

Upon creating an account with us, it's imperative to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Failing to comply constitutes a violation of the Terms, potentially resulting in the immediate termination of your account with our Service.

It is your responsibility to safeguard the password used to access the Service. You are accountable for all activities under your password, whether on our Service or a third-party platform.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and must promptly notify us of any security breach or unauthorized use of your account.

Selling your OJC account to a third party is prohibited. You cannot authorize another person to use your account. Any such actions will lead to the permanent termination of your account, resulting in your exclusion and/or expulsion from the platform.

2. Platform Guidelines

We assure a job guarantee and strive to continually increase available opportunities on the platform. Your commitment involves delivering high-quality work, fostering harmonious relationships with fellow members, and maintaining respectful communication despite differences.

All communications related to transactions must strictly occur within the platform. Failure to comply will result in immediate account termination.

Before sharing any opportunity, please verify its authenticity. We aim to steer clear of known job scams that lack essential company details like an official address, website, social media presence, and a verified vacancy announcement.

Transactions primarily operate through M-Pesa and PayPal, but they are not limited to only these payment methods. Payment release is contingent on reviewed and acceptable work quality. No payment will be made for subpar work. It's strongly advised to enhance skills through continuous learning and reach out to the platform support team for assistance. We're here to support your learning and growth at all times.

3. Termination

We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend access to our Service without prior notice or liability if there's a breach of the Terms, for any reason.

All parts of the Terms essential to survive termination will remain in effect, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limitations.

Your account may also be immediately terminated or suspended without prior notice or liability if the Terms are violated for any reason. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends immediately.

If you want to deactivate your account, simply stop using the Service.

4. Governing Law

These terms are subject to the laws of Kenya and do not take into account any conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision in these terms doesn't waive those rights.

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the provisions will remain valid.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede any previous agreements related to the Service.

5. Changes

We have the sole right to change or substitute these Terms at any time as we deem fit.

In cases where a revision is substantial, we'll attempt to give notice before implementing new terms. The determination of what constitutes a significant change will be at our discretion.

Your continued use of our Service following the implementation of these revisions implies your agreement to abide by the updated terms.

If you do not agree to the new terms, kindly discontinue using the Service.

6. Tasks' Quality Guideline

On our platform, maintaining high work quality across all offered fields is a stringent requirement. It is imperative that the work provided consistently meets high standards and satisfies the client's expectations.

Failing to uphold this quality standard as a user or job seeker on the platform may result in the suspension or permanent termination of your account. Continuous practice and skill enhancement are highly recommended to maintain consistent improvement.

Ensuring quality work delivery is non-negotiable on our platform, and we maintain strict adherence to this standard. To prepare adequately, sharpen your skills through self-learning and research, and seek guidance from our support team when needed. Given our global service coverage, delivering quality work is an absolute necessity.

As we work to ensure more job supply, we urge our employees to be vigilant in their delivery of work, maintaining high quality and standards for all tasks given. That will help OJC retain their clients, receive positive reviews, and gain more referrals on tasks. Positive reviews are an added advantage to all our employees as well as OJC. High-quality work delivered ensures OJC does not lose clients due to low-quality task delivery.

For trainees, taking training seriously and mastering all necessary skills for high-quality work delivery is crucial.

7. Fines & Charges

The following fines and charges will be implemented on poor or low-quality tasks done by an employee:
i)Consistent delivery of low-quality work will result in mandatory attendance at OJC trainings given at a discounted rate for extra training. 
ii) Consistent delivery of low-quality work will result in a limited number of jobs an employee will be given to work on. 
iii) In cases of indiscipline or failure to follow and comply with OJC guidelines, the employee will be permanently eliminated from the company and will no longer be an OJC employee. We greatly discourage bad behavior and encourage good work culture and ethics when undertaking any tasks and in dealing with fellow employees and management.
iv) There will be no payments done for work that has failed to pass the quality threshold, proof will be provided for the said. 
v) In case the client complains and reduces payment on total budget due to poor or low-quality work, the amount deducted will be forwarded to the employee’s final payment. 
vi) In cases of dispute between client and employee, the platform will suspend the employee’s account until the matter is settled. 
vii) Inactive accounts will be deleted, especially if an employee doesn’t respond despite OJC follow-ups.

8. Job Seeker Reporting

All job seekers or employees must remain engaged while on the platform, whether it involves learning or other activities, ensuring productive engagement.

It is mandatory to inform us in advance if you anticipate being inactive on the platform. Failure to do so may lead to the permanent termination of your account, with or without notice. In such cases, re-enrollment as a new job seeker may be necessary.

Therefore, it's essential to report any planned absence as a job seeker beforehand. We strictly prohibit sudden disappearances and reappearances without prior notification.

9. Discipline

Participating on the platform isn't solely about earning; we uphold stringent standards for user conduct and behavior. All users are expected to show respect, and if any issues arise, they should be addressed through the proper channels provided within your accounts by submitting comments or communicating to any of the platform leaders or managers.

Misconduct of any kind may result in the permanent termination of your account, with or without prior notice. Discipline and conduct play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of any platform or organization.

Regarding work, as a job seeker, you must always remain available for work-related calls at any given time. Consistency and delivering high-quality work enhance your reliability and increase your priority for job opportunities on the platform.

As a Job Seeker on our platform, direct communication with platform clients is prohibited unless conducted through the platform or when specifically authorized for tasks requiring direct interaction. Any attempt to solicit or poach clients from the platform when provided an opportunity to work for and with them is strictly prohibited.

Violation of this rule will result in the permanent termination of your account, with or without prior notice, and you will not be reinstated on the platform under such circumstances.

10. Jobs Supply

As management, we will ensure there is a good flow of jobs in all categories by pushing to acquire more clients and in turn, many tasks in all categories.
We encourage all our employees to expand their skill sets. Apart from freelance writing, OJC has other categories like Graphics designs, transcription, cyber work, trading, Web & App development, as well as other online opportunities. We urge all our employees to explore OJC as a whole to ensure their mastery of many skills. This will give employees other avenues of job security in case one category is low.

The OJC platform consistently seeks global opportunities, both remote and on-site, encouraging users to regularly check for updates by logging in. It's recommended to visit the platform's main website and social media channels for the latest information.

Users are encouraged to foster creativity to create more opportunities, aligning with OJC's goal of reducing unemployment through shared ideas and global teamwork.

We provide professional global services 24/7, catering to clients seeking outstanding service. Clients can also support OJC's vision by hiring professional experts from the platform.

Collaborating with clients, partners, and various platforms globally remains our key focus to maximize opportunities while ensuring steadfast commitment to delivering top-notch work.

11. Donations and Support

To all our users, if you share our platform's vision, you have the option to support it through the Support Page. Periodically, the platform initiates M-Pesa pop-ups for user contributions, offering an opportunity to those interested in supporting OJC and its mission.

It's important to note that these support pop-ups are always optional, allowing users to decide whether or not to contribute.

Nevertheless, supporting our cause is the most effective way to further the visualization of ONLINE JOBS CONNECT (OJC). 

12. Quality Services Delivery

We offer outstanding services worldwide to companies and clients, regardless of their location, using remote methods. Our firm dedication is to maintain consistent delivery of top-notch work.

With our in-house broad expertise across different fields, we extend our services to clients and companies globally, both remotely and on-site.

13. Hiring

OJC periodically recruits experts across various fields to improve the efficiency and efficacy of its employees. For the inexperienced, we recommend joining our comprehensive training sessions across all fields.

Proficient applicants undergo rigorous testing to validate their skills, as we prioritize strict adherence to quality in task delivery. Job openings are advertised on the platform's social media channels. Keep yourself updated by following all our social media platforms for any announcements.

Each OJC employee is assigned a unique employee number, which aids in effectively managing our workforce. You have to ensure you got the employee number as one of the procedures while being hired in.

Strictly follow through the entire OJC and know how everything works to ensure you are well informed. This helps one to have a smooth working relationship with the platform.

For one to join the platform, he or she has to undergo mandatory OJC training whether one is applying as someone with experience or not. However the fees for both parties will be different. 14. Task Payments

As proposed by the majority, payments will be disbursed upon task approval by the client. OJC will ensure that clients make deposits on payments. Once the task has been submitted, the client will be given reasonable time to review the job task and request corrections if necessary. Client payment reservations, whether partial or full, will aid in eliminating payment delays. This has been implemented and clients have accepted the terms of engagement.
In cases where the employee has been paid for the job task and corrections are needed afterward, the employee will make the necessary corrections as instructed. If the instructions are new or different from the original ones, the client will incur extra charges. If the company forgot to attach any given instructions by the client, the company will bear the extra cost of redoing the assignment.

15. Task Allocations

Tasks will be allocated via the job tasks system posted on the OJC website. If necessary, tasks will be allocated directly to an employee at the request of the client. Whenever a task is posted on the job tasks system, a notification will appear via the browser. All employees are encouraged to enable their notification bell on the OJC home page, on the OJC website.
To ensure every employee gets work, we will occasionally call an employee if they have not been allocated tasks and consider them for the same to ensure everyone is active on the platform. However, it is the responsibility of every employee to be readily available for calls pertaining to tasks at any given time.

16.Advance Loans Implementation

The interest rates are revised as follows:
A rate of 7% applies for repayments made within a 7-day period.
A rate of 8% applies for repayments made within a 14-day period.
A rate of 9% applies for repayments made within a 30-day period. No service fee, unless where there will be need to include that in future.
Loan durations: Borrowers may select loan durations of 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days. Other terms are currently disabled but may be enabled upon request during the application process. Loans can be requested via the OJC Advance Loans manager.

Loan limits: Loan limits are determined based on the employee’s activity on OJC. The default loan limit is set at a minimum of $10 (equivalent to Ksh 1,000) upon the creation of an advance account. Employees may request higher loan limits via the OJC Advance manager. The approval of such requests will be determined by the OJC Advance team, and feedback may vary based on the applicant’s job task activity.

Loan Security: No security, collateral, or surety is required to be presented by the employee before the loan is disbursed. Advance loans are granted based on the trust OJC has in its employees. OJC envisions the company as one big family, thus requiring commitment from both sides. Based on the trust bestowed by OJC, we believe no one will default as they have the company’s best interest at heart and consider OJC as a family. Therefore, there will be no need to enforce other measures unless necessary. We are allowing advance loans on good faith towards our employees.

17. Employee Engagement

To ensure smooth operations, we urge all our employees to be vigilant and participate in terms of follow-ups through any of the following means: 
i)Contact the manager in charge or any manager an employee is comfortable sharing an issue with. Kindly check the list of managers provided in your account at any time. 
ii)Make use of the comments/Feedback option in the employee/Job seeker accounts. 
iii)Feel free to share your opinions in the employee WhatsApp group.

18. OJC Monthly Meetings

 We will be having one meeting every month to discuss the progress and welfare of all our employees. This is to ensure everyone grows as we build a robust employee/OJC relationship. This is to promote positive interactions, learning of new skills where possible, or get insights on relevant matters. Dates of the monthly meetings will be communicated over time. We urge everyone to try and avail themselves at the allocated date and time so as to grow with OJC.

19. Team Work

We encourage teamwork and collaboration. If you can’t reach any of the OJC managers concerning any issue, kindly get to know your fellow employees, interact with each other, and learn from each other. This engagement will help you grow. The Excel Google Sheets provides contact details of every employee, their tasks delivered, and their fields of interest.

20. Google Sheet Update

Remember to always update your Google Sheet Excel in terms of skills as this will help us easily identify your strengths and refer opportunities that come our way. This is not limited to freelance writing but any skills an employee may have.

21. Data Sharing

Sharing employee data with outside sources without consent from the owner is strictly prohibited. Access to any data information within this platform is purely for internal purposes only. Terms of use and privacy policy apply. Constantly check the terms and conditions of work on OJC. These updates will from time to time be revised and updated upon feedback from all our employees.

22. Binary, Forex & Crypto Trading Agreements

  • Online Jobs Connect (OJC) offers free binary trading training, signals, and bots if you register your Deriv broker trading account through their specific link: Deriv Registration Link.
  • Without registering through the above link, you won't qualify for these free resources.
  • The free packages include: free trading signals from our live trading session on a daily basis, free trading bots that will always be available in your learning account under "File attachments" page and you can click to download, free tutorial on how to navigate and set the bot and free learning materials in case you want to do self learning and discover your own trading strategy. However, in case you want to stop relying on our trading signals, don't want to learn by yourself and want to know how to analyze markets by yourself, after you have created your learning account and deriv account on our link, text the "Admin" via "Messages & Groups" section and you will be updated on the charges for extra one-on-one comprehensive training because that will consume our time as well to guide you.
  • Trading Training sessions are flexible, usually scheduled from 9 PM, Monday to Friday, and scheduled google meetings can be found under "Webinars & Meetings" section in your learning account.
  • Despite the free offerings, OJC requires weekly support to sustain their mission of creating more opportunities. Support is mandatory once you start making money and can be sent via their support page: Support OJC
  • Failure to provide weekly support will result in account deactivation. This initiative aims to help you grow financially while contributing to OJC's mission.
